VISA OPTIONS
There are two types of work authorization that you might want to consider to legally work as a seasonal employee of Colorado Mountain Express
You can obtain a J-1 visa if you are a student wanting four (4) months of work experience in the United States. Colorado Mountain Express does not sponsor the J-1 visa. You must obtain this type of visa through a work and travel program, which you can find on the internet under “work experience in the U.S.” If you obtain a J-1 visa, you must be able to at least work through March, 2011 or later. In addition, you must provide CME with a letter from your college or university on their letterhead stating the date they are authorizing you to work through.
Colorado Mountain Express will be sponsoring H2B visas for the Guest Service Driver only. To qualify for an H2B Visa, you must have a valid job offer from Colorado Mountain Express to perform temporary or seasonal work, and show proof of intent to return to your home country on expiration of the visa
Colorado Mountain Express will secure the H2B visa for applicants who are hired for seven (7) months. Seven month visa holders must commit to work from November through the end of April. |
